Made-to-measure fitted wardrobes, walk-in dressing rooms and bedroom furniture, designed and built around your Southend-on-Sea home.
A well-planned bedroom brings calm to the end of every day, and in Southend-on-Sea homes vary widely — from period villas near the seafront to more contemporary properties inland. Manor Design creates fitted bedrooms and wardrobes tailored to your space, your storage needs and the character of the room. Every piece is measured, drawn in 3D and made to fit, so nothing feels off-the-shelf.
We work with clients throughout Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding areas, including Westcliff-on-Sea, Thorpe Bay, Eastwood, Leigh-on-Sea and Rochford. Our design centre at Manor House on Cranes Farm Road in Basildon is an easy drive away, with more than eighteen full-size displays where you can see finishes, handles and interior fittings in person. A family-run studio trading since 1990, we bring the design to you and manage the project from first measure to final fit.
As well as Southend-on-Sea, our team regularly designs and installs fitted bedrooms across the surrounding areas, including Westcliff-on-Sea, Thorpe Bay, Eastwood, Leigh-on-Sea and Rochford. Wherever you are nearby, our Basildon design centre is an easy drive away.

Questions
Yes. Because everything is made to measure, we regularly build around chimney breasts, eaves and sloping ceilings, which are common in older Southend-on-Sea and Leigh-on-Sea properties. We survey the room precisely so the wardrobes sit flush and use every usable inch.
We do. Alongside fitted wardrobes we design walk-in wardrobes and dressing rooms, with configurations for hanging, drawers, shoe storage and accessories. The layout is planned in 3D so you can see how it works before anything is made.
Book a free design consultation and we will discuss your ideas and requirements. You are also welcome to visit our Basildon design centre to view the displays, and we will arrange a survey of your room to prepare a bespoke 3D design.
They can. We make bedroom furniture to complement your fitted wardrobes, so bedside units, drawers and dressing tables share the same finishes and detailing for a coordinated result.
